Thats not true, Mozart also wrote tunes for the local theatres which would have been considered lower or in todays terms working class, learn your history.

What I do take from what history I do know, is that I associate Bach
more with the church and Mozart more with the Royal Court, thus my
remark. Note use of the word "more" [IOW not exclusively].
OTOH both Church and Court are elites, with little or no seperation
between church and state. Still I find Bach just ballsier, so my own
gut reaction is to find Bach "less elite". I'm clearly ignoring context
there. "Ballsy" is just my modern ear hearing the difference between
Baroque and Renaissance and treating the two composers as if their
difference were of personalities rather than the times the worked in.
I did NOT realize Mozart was known for theatre music, as I do not
know lotsa historical detail, just generalities. So a thank-you there !
Since B'way quite often goes into "revival" mode, maybe they could
look back a bit further than usual ? Maybe a Mozart musical ? Yeah.
When pigs fly ...

Excuse me I should have stated operas or operettas instead of theatre, my bad.
My vote:
Ramones = Punk
Green Day =Punk Roots: 1990 thru 99. Band is now maturing type of punk. Some stuff leans toward top 40. but more punk then anything else in my opinion.
Mozart = Definetely not punk -- although who knows...he might have been punk for his time?
