    Default Yamaha RBX 1000

I'm thinking about getting a Yamaha RBX 1000.(350$, second hand)
Should I buy it or are there better basses in the same price range?

My first bass was a 700$ yamaha way back when. I think they are ok for what they are.

Check out some of the reviews on www.harmonycentral.com
I think that Fender, Musicman, Warwick, and a number of other brands make great basses in the cheaper range. I'm sorry I don't have much experience with Yamaha.

Other than that..........uh..........wait for supermau to reply to this post.

    Default rbx1000

I play an rbx1000. I like it. You can mould the sound to your wishes, make it sound sharp and aggresive or more subdued and round. It's strurdy. It's less heavy than my previous bass. Mind you always carry fresh batteries!
