Myself, I've got several project I play in, including a Latin Funk project, two Brazillian bands, a Heavy Funky kinda metal project, an experimental Drum'n'Bass project, and loads of little Jazz combos when folks call me to play. Fun stuff.

  2. New to bass and blogs

I've been playing bass only a short while, but I'm liking it more and more. I have even started to play with a thrown together band on Saturday nights.

I started playing guitar in 1988 but only got serious around 2002. Then I started playing a lot. After a while of playing guitar I got a mandolin. Then a harmonica and a banjo. Then dobro. And finally a bass. I'm self taught on all of the aforementioned instruments.

I was really hoping that these blogs would catch on, but as it is, I'm the only one who's posted. Maybe if I keep at it, someone else will blab about their experiences too

I've had a Boss CEB-3 Bass Chorus (I think that's the model #) for years now. It's the first effect pedal I ever bought, way back in about 1997ish. The pedal is both a mono chorus, and a stereo chorus, but I'd never tried out the stereo effect. I've always been curious about just what it would sound like, ...
